Bendix's S-Matrix (sintered matrix) racing brake pads are the ultimate race pads from Bendix. These pads are designed for road race use only. In fact, we're talking top level road racing such as Grand Prix, Superbike, Endurance and Supersport/Superstock. These pads provide very high initial bite with a very "flat" or level stopping power (little or no servo effect if you like). Wear rates are praised by our World Endurance race teams, whom managed to race full 24H distance on the same set of pads (special Endurance Racing brake calipers / 9 mm friction material) For World Supersport our teams fit new pads for Sunday warm-up and do the race with bedded pads. The following race meeting the race pads are used for all practice and qualifying sessions. This means 1 set of pads for 1 World Championship meeting, the pads are still OK for further use but they do a lot of km´s in a weekend and this is their procedure for best performance and safety.
Bendix has developed S-Matrix pads to bring a braking advantage at the highest levels of motorcycle racing and may only be used for front wheel applications.
Part numbers for S-Matrix pads have a "MSR" prefix.

This new “state-of-the-art” Bendix S-Matrix brake pad compound and specialised manufacturing technology has been developed over a period of 3 years. Severely tested in Bendix's high-tech brake-dyno and bike tested by our World Championship race teams to withstand the extreme load from speed and temperatures this level of racing subjects brake components to. Bendix S-Matrix also meets the expected performance requirements of the future development of engine power, suspension and tyre technology.
Using the very latest compound and treatment technology S-Matrix pads will out-perform ceramic, traditional sintered metal and carbon-metallic pads, particularly at the high disc temperatures associated with top-level road racing.
Bendix S-Matrix offers the following benefits:
Naturally, Bendix have produced these pads for the likes of top racing brake calipers from Brembo, AP Lockheed, PFM, Nissin and others, as well as original equipment for the latest Superbike, Supersport and Superstock machines.
Only available for the most modern and powerfull brake systems currently available. For fitment listings please visit the Bendix website.
If you are looking for inexpensive brake pads these are not for you, however the long life and consistency of feel and power thoughout the long life of the pads means they will be extremely good value when compared against our competitors products.
